Workshop: Building Financial Resilience – With Your NHS Credit Union
- Wednesday 5 November – 10am-11am

”More
Life is full of ups and downs – and money worries can creep in when we least expect them. A car repair, a higher-than-usual bill, or a family event can quickly throw things off balance. This session is all about helping you feel more in control when that happens.
Delivered in partnership with Your NHS Credit Union, this session is a practical, supportive introduction to financial resilience how to build confidence, reduce money stress, and feel better prepared for life’s surprises.
You don’t need to be great with money to come along. In fact, if you’ve ever thought “I’m just not money smart,” this is exactly the place to start. Financial resilience isn’t about being perfect – it’s about taking smart steps over time.
We’ll cover:
- How to become money smart and how it protects you
 - The value of an emergency fund and how to start one
 - Why saving straight from your pay through your credit union can make it easier to succeed

Whether you’re saving for a goal, getting through a tough patch, or just want to worry less about money, this session is for you. With payroll saving built in to NHS Lanarkshire, we are designed to help people just like you build financial strength, one step at a time.
