NHS Lanarkshire’s Healthy Lifestyle & Weight Management Service offers free support for people, by helping them to design their own healthier lifestyle. We can help you to access the different types of free physical activity and healthy weight services available in Lanarkshire.

There are many physical and mental wellbeing benefits linked to a healthier weight and being more active, we can have better mobility and energy, more restful sleep and improved mood.

A healthier weight will also reduce the risk of Type II diabetes and can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol, which helps reduce our risks of heart disease and strokes.

Stop Smoking Support

Giving up smoking is not something you have to do on your own, Quit Your Way is a free NHS stop smoking service available in Lanarkshire to help you succeed.

You can now use our ‘Click to be Contacted’ service, select your local or nearest area, leave your name, preferred contact method, and we will in touch with you.

You can also receive free stop smoking support from your local pharmacy, find your nearest community pharmacy.

Well Connected App

Well Connected is an app that makes it easier for us to take part in & benefit from activities & services we know to improve our wellbeing.  

The Well Connected programme has been shown to help people by:

  • Helping people deal with some of the problems that are causing low moods such as money worries, loneliness & unemployment
