This Easter, Scotrail is running their school holiday travel offer, which NHS Lanarkshire staff can take advantage of.
The Scotrail family pass includes unlimited train travel, all over Scotland, across 7 days for up to 2 adults and 4 children for just £60 per family. The offer is valid between the Friday 3 April and Monday 13 April 2026.
Travelling by train is not only less expensive – thanks to ScotRail’s Easter deal – but it is also better for the environment.
The NHS Lanarkshire Sustainability Team continues to make strides in promoting positive climate action, which includes a focus on sustainable travel.
Kirsty Platt, Energy & Sustainability Manager – Planning, Property & Performance, NHS Lanarkshire, said: “This opportunity provided by Scotrail is a great initiative for families to travel in a way that lowers their carbon footprint over the holidays.
“Taking the train is one of the most eco-friendly methods of travelling. This is due to the railway being climate resilient considering its reduced air and noise pollution, high energy efficiency and lack of carbon emissions compared to other means of travel.”
