Professor Arturo Langa, consultant psychiatrist in the learning disability service, has been recognised in His Majesty The King’s New Year Honours List with an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
The New Year Honours List for 2024 (New Year Honours List 2024 – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)) highlights achievements and service of extraordinary people across the UK and Commonwealth realms. Professor Langa has been awarded this for his outstanding dedication and services to vulnerable people in Scotland.
The Learning Disability Service are very proud of his achievement and for all the work in ensuring quality services for the clients we serve. Congratulations!
