Staff from NHS Lanarkshire’s digital team have received a ‘bumper’ Big Shout Out for their work in helping to improve the quality of care that patients receive.
The team have received multiple nominations from across the organisation, with staff wanting to celebrate the department that have an impact on most of our day to day working lives.

Donald Wilson, Director of Digital Services, said: “I am deeply honoured and humbled by the nomination of our digital services teams for this recognition.
“Our teams routinely go above and beyond, developing and implementing innovative technologies that empower our clinical staff with deeper insights into patient conditions. This not only enhances the quality of care but also contributes to the overall efficiency and flow across our hospitals.
“I would like to thank those who took the time to nominate the different areas of our wide arching department, highlighting the remarkable work that often goes unseen.
“During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, our teams demonstrated remarkable resilience and dedication. They worked tirelessly to facilitate remote working for our staff who were able to do so.
“They introduced mechanisms enabling patients to connect with their loved ones remotely, which was a source of comfort during difficult times.
“This recognition is a reflection of the collective spirit and commitment of our entire digital team. We are driven by a shared vision of improving patient care and making a meaningful impact on healthcare for the people of Lanarkshire.”
The Big Shout Out praises NHS Lanarkshire teams for taking an innovative, creative, and patient-centered approach to working, and recognizes the unique contribution staff make to overcoming the challenges faced across the entire healthcare system.
