Modules for nurses and midwifes who support learners in practice

Feb 13, 2024

Are you a registered nurse or midwife and support learners in practice?

NHS Education for Scotland have revised the modules and learning resources which support the preparation of practice supervisors, practice assessors and academic assessors of pre-registration nursing and midwifery students in practice.

The following SWAY provides useful information on the revised resources. Practice Supervisor, Practice Assessor and Academic Assessors’ Learning Resource

The revised modules will be available via Turas Learn from February 2024; and registered nurses and midwives undertaking the learning modules will be directed to a self-assessment form which will identify target preparation units to undertake based on individual learning and development needs.

All continuous professional development undertaken in the preparation of these roles in practice will provide evidence towards your Nursing and Midwifery (NMC) revalidation.
