The iMatter staff survey told us you’d like to learn more about the work of the Board of NHS Lanarkshire and the colleagues who are members.
So we’re planning some Pulse stories on the subject of the Board, which is made up of members of our executive team along with non-executive members, including the Chair, who bring their own expertise and enhance accountability.
For starters, we’d like to hear from services and departments who’d like to have Board members visit for one of their regular walkrounds.
These visits help non-executives in their key role of holding the chief executive and the director team to account for the delivery of strategy, and ensuring value for money and that risks are managed and mitigated effectively.
Last year there was a series of walkrounds across a range of services.
