With our 75th anniversary approaching, we are looking for some inspirational stories from the people of Lanarkshire.
If you or any of your friends and family have any interesting stories to tell that illustrates the past 75 years then please do get in touch. It could be three generations of families working in the NHS, or someone you know who was born on 5 July 1948 and can tell a story about what the NHS has done for them. Or it could be someone who worked in the early NHS or has long service who can tell a story of innovation and advances over the years.
Calvin Brown, director of communications at NHS Lanarkshire, commented:
“As we reach our 75th anniversary, we are keen to share stories from our staff to bring to life the past 75 years. The NHS has changed massively since its inception so it would be great to have a variety of images and personal stories to demonstrate the progress that has been made in healthcare. If you have any ideas then please do get in touch with our comms team”
