Specialist Falls TeamLanarkshire Specialist Falls Team
The Team cares for people who have had falls that are difficult to manage, or that happen often, or where it’s not known what’s causing the fall. The Team also works with people who have dizziness, who feel lightheaded, or who blackout. Referrals to the team are made by other health professionals.
The Team visit patients in their own homes and supports the Falls Clinics in NHS Lanarkshire. It also works with other staff across Lanarkshire to provide education and training, and to help develop resources on preventing and managing falls.Â
