Active Health

Active Health is NHS Lanarkshire’s referral-based programme. It is mainly for higher risk patients to help them manage a long-term health condition.

There are currently 3 specialist health classes within our Active Health programme. These are divided into 3 levels of physical intensity to best meet the needs of each patient referred into the programme.

The strength and balance class is most suitable for patients who want to improve and maintain their strength, balance, mobility and ability to do the daily tasks that are important to them.

My Experience…

Through the Strength and Balance class, guided by Scott, my sit-to-stand has soared. The once challenging motion now flows effortlessly.
Enhanced overall strength and coordination have become my daily companions. Grateful for the journey, I’ve not just found balance in exercises but in the rhythm of a happier, healthier life.

Next Steps…

Since completing the Strength and Balance classes, I have continued into the maintenance class Club Circuits to continue my journey and not have an Activage Membership.
