In this video, Heather gives her regular update on the number of Covid-19 cases and the pressures across the health and social care system.
This week has seen the highest number of Covid-19 cases in Lanarkshire in any point during the pandemic. There are no clusters of cases, this is widespread community infection. Therefore, it is important that we maintain our safe practices of keeping our distance from others, wearing face coverings and take a test twice per week.
Heather also thanks and acknowledges the contribution of two non-executive board members who have come to the end of their term; Phil Campbell and Margaret Morris.
