Quality Week 2024 takes place from Monday 6 May to Friday 10 May and we are pleased to confirm the programme is now available.
We celebrate Quality Week annually throughout NHS Lanarkshire, inviting staff to participate in a variety of learning and development opportunities as we celebrate the improvement work going on throughout the organisation.
Elizabeth Currie, quality programme manager with the quality directorate, said:
“We have a great programme available again this year, with a range of exciting sessions planned throughout the week offering something for everyone. Quality Week helps to spread quality improvement expertise throughout NHS Lanarkshire and gives people a chance to come together for shared learning.”
This year’s programme will cover a wide range of subjects, including time for wellbeing, data and measurement, mediation skills, the relaunch of the quality improvement (QI) staff network, chance to check (reducing medication administration errors), self-care is not selfish and much more. There will also be a session on teamworking across health and social care, delivered by external speaker Gavin Oattes from Tree of Knowledge.
