For the 2025/26 Season the NHS Lanarkshire Occupational Health Team (Salus) will be arranging immunisation clinics for staff based in the 3 acute sites. Please note: only be the flu vaccination will be offered during these clinics.
The clinics will start from 20th October and run until 7th November 2025:
- Monday to Friday there will be clinics on each of the three acute hospital sites on a daily basis
- UHH – Clinics will be in the Occupational Health Department
- UHW – Clinics will be in the Occupational Health Department
- UHM – Clinics will be held in Ward 5 in the main hospital
- This will be by appointments running through the day
- Staff should book an appointment through the flu portal – The portal will be live and published on the 9th October
- Staff should attend at their appointment time
- Staff should bring identification to their appointment
For staff unable to attend the clinics
We are re-introducing the Staff Peer Immuniser programme this season.
Staff should still register on the portal once it is available and should select the peer immuniser option for their appropriate site. They should then contact their local staff peer immuniser and arrange to have the vaccine at a mutually agreeable time.
Please note the Staff Peer Immunisers will be unable to vaccinate staff until the start of the staff vaccination programme on the20th October.
From the 10th November, there will be a second phase where we will target areas to offer additional opportunities for staff to be vaccinated. This will include:
- Ad-hoc clinics
- Ward visits
- Ongoing Staff Peer Immuniser program
