The NHS Lanarkshire Orchestra is looking for new members and is extending an open invitation to staff from across the organisation to get involved. All instruments are welcome, with a particular call for cellists as the group prepares for a busy festive season.
The orchestra rehearses every Tuesday at 6.30pm in the Ronald Miller building at University Hospital Wishaw. Players of all levels are encouraged to come along, enjoy making music with colleagues, and contribute to a supportive and friendly group.
This year, the orchestra hopes to grow its numbers so it can perform a programme of fun Christmas music in our hospitals during the week before Christmas. It’s a great opportunity to take part in something uplifting, sociable and creative.
Anyone interested in joining should contact Evelyn Ferguson at evelyn.ferguson@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk for more information.
