This week our new Board Secretary, Jennifer Haynes, joins us with a wealth of experience.
Jen started her career in 2008 as an NHS Scotland Management trainee before joining NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde in 2010 as Operational Support Manager for Neurosciences.
Jen spent 12 years with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde in various roles including Business Manager to the Chief Executive and Corporate Services Manager.
In 2022 Jen moved to the Golden Jubilee as Service Manager for Theatres, General Surgery/Colorectal/Endoscopy and Decontamination to gain further experience on the frontline and it is this experience she brings to NHS Lanarkshire.
Our Chief Executive, Louise Long, said: “Having recently joined NHS Lanarkshire myself I hope Jen will receive the warm welcome I have experienced over the last few weeks.
“Jen comes to us with a vast knowledge of the NHS from her 12 year with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and three year with NHS Golden Jubilee.
“Her years of experience not only benefit me and our Chair but is something she is happy to share with everyone who needs advice.”
Jen added her delight at joining the team in Lanarkshire. She said: “I am excited to have joined NHS Lanarkshire, and I am grateful to the corporate team for such a lovely welcome.
“I hope my experience, passion and dedication will be of benefit to both the colleagues I will be working with, and the wider organisation.”
