Nursing staff from Lanarkshire’s primary care mental health and wellbeing service took to the streets of Lanarkshire during mental health awareness week in May to raise community awareness of mental health and wellbeing supports.
Mental health charge nurses were on hand to offer information and signposting to members of the public. Staff were able to highlight resources/services within the local communities as well as NHS Lanarkshire supports for mental health and wellbeing.
Thank you to all who participated in organising this event across North and South Lanarkshire. Particular thanks to Sainsbury’s -Hamilton and East Kilbride, Regent shopping centre, Wishaw sports centre and the Tryst leisure centre.
