Lunchtime learning sessions on Public Protection launch this October

In response to staff feedback, NHS Lanarkshire’s Public Protection Service will be delivering a series of lunchtime bite-size training sessions from the week beginning Monday 20 October.

These sessions – covering Adult and Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence, and MAPPA – will run daily between 12pm and 1pm, and are designed to be short, practical and informative.

Staff can choose from a range of parallel learning sessions, selecting the topics most relevant to their role.

Here’s what’s on each day:

  • Tuesday 21 October
    • NOCPC Process / Escalation & Resolution Guidance
    • MARAC (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference)

  • Wednesday 22 October
    • IRD Process
    • ASP & Domestic Abuse
  • Thursday 23 October
    • Care Experienced & The Promise
    • NOCPC Process / Escalation & Resolution Guidance
    • MAPPA (Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements)
  • Friday 24 October
    • Online Harm
    • Self-Neglect / Hoarding
