This week we started the flu vaccination programme for health and social care staff.
All eligible health and social work staff in Lanarkshire can access their flu vaccinations at one of our vaccination sites.
Below are the three main vaccination centres. Additional sites may also be available. You can check all locations and their opening dates on our website at:

- Braidfute Retail Park, Ladyacre Road, Lanark, ML11 7LQ
- Eddlewood Public Hall, Birkhall Road, Hamilton, ML3 8BG
- Muirhead Clinic, 192 Cumbernauld Road, Chryston, Glasgow G69 9NB
- Drop-in: You can attend without an appointment, but please be aware clinics are busy and queues are likely.
- Book in advance: To minimise waiting times, staff are encouraged to book a convenient appointment through the national portal: https://vacs.nhs.scot/csp.
Once you have booked your appointment, please register https://staffflujab.salus.co.uk/ and select the correct community clinic. The community clinics are under the names above.
Acute Hospital Staff
For acute staff based at University Hospital Monklands, University Hospital Hairmyres and University Hospital Wishaw, flu vaccination clinics are being delivered by SALUS Occupational Health.
Appointments can be booked by following this link: https://staffflujab.salus.co.uk/ then selecting your hospital site. This will display available appointments for you to book into directly.
Important Information for Community Peer Immunisation for Staff
To support a smooth vaccination process and avoid booking errors, please follow the correct registration and clinic selection process:
- Register on Syntax before attending either a peer immuniser clinic or a vaccination clinic here: https://staffflujab.salus.co.uk/
- Check the right clinic: If you are unsure whether your service has a peer immuniser, speak to your line manager. They will confirm the correct registration details to ensure you select the appropriate clinic.
For Staff with North HSCP please select “Peer Immunisation – North CHP”
For Staff with South HSCP please select “Peer Immunisation – South CHP”
These steps will help reduce delays, support peer immunisers and clinic teams, and ensure a more efficient vaccination process.
