Festive Message of Thanks

Dec 22, 2023

As the festive season approaches, we take this opportunity to look back and reflect on all your hard work and dedication while delivering high quality care to our patients throughout the year.

As a result of your professionalism and diligence many lives have been positively changed and we are very proud of all that has been achieved.

We have had the pleasure of meeting many of you during the year. It has been inspirational to see and hear of the dedication and compassion you have shown to our patients, as well as your support for each other.

We know that every day our staff strive to provide outstanding treatment and care. We are humbled by the messages of thanks from patients, their families and our wider communities who have shared their stories and experiences and are grateful for all that do for them and their loved ones.

We thank you for all that you do for others and recognise how valuable each of you are. Please remember to look after your own health and wellbeing too and to make use of our staff supports and resources to help you to do so.

There are many positives we can take from this year. We have made progress on a range key projects and initiatives such as Operation FLOW, Our Health Together and the Monklands Replacement Project. Many exciting opportunities and plans lie ahead in 2024 as we develop these further.

Where there have been challenges, we have worked as a whole health and care system and as a team to address them, and we look forward to continuing the remarkable spirit of cooperation and collaboration that exists across Lanarkshire to support new ways of working and plan a more resilient future. #TeamLanarkshire

Along with the people of Lanarkshire, we and the Board of NHS Lanarkshire are extremely grateful for your combined efforts and look with anticipation to the opportunities that the New Year will bring.

We are truly proud of all that you are doing. Thank You.

Finally, we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year with a very special thank you to everyone who is working over the festive period.

With heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
