The Autumn vaccination programme will commence on Monday, 5 September and Lanarkshire health and social care staff (including independent contractors) can book an appointment to receive their annual flu vaccination and Covid Booster vaccination (if eligible) through the online booking portal which opened on Monday.
Eligible frontline health and social care workers are being offered the flu and Civid-19 booster to help protect them and the highest risk patients they come into contact with. Frontline workers are those who have a patient facing role and have frequent face-to-face contact with patients (see list below).
To book your appointments for either the flu vaccination or the flu vaccination and Covid booster vaccine please log onto the online booking portal, enter your log in details, click the health and social care staff button (not the winter vaccination button as you will be unable to book using this button) and select your preferred vaccination clinic. You may need to look at a few dates but there are still plenty of appointments available.
You can also check at NHS Inform what vaccinations you will be offered.
