National Advanced Practice Week is an annual event which takes place 10-14 November. To mark this, NHS Lanarkshire’s practice development team has developed a series of webinars which will focus on advanced practice across all sectors within NHS Lanarkshire.
Advanced Practice Week aims to support the learning and development of advanced practitioners and trainee advanced practitioners across the organisation. Providing this continuous professional development opportunity for advanced practitioners and trainees will contribute to their knowledge and skills and help ensure safe and efficient practices, reducing the risk of harm to patients.
Penny Brankin, senior practitioner, practice development, said: “As part of Advanced Practice Week we will be holding a series of varied and interesting webinars – both live and recorded – to meet the learning needs of NHS Lanarkshire’s advanced practice community and trainees so that we can ensure they have contemporary, evidence-based knowledge to help in safe advanced practice across all four pillars of practice.
“If anyone is an advanced practitioner or training to become one, this is a great opportunity to enhance their learning and support their continuous professional development”.
Please see the latest staff briefing for details of the full programme, including how to book any of the sessions.
