Information governance manager Michelle Nobes scooped the outstanding individual in a non-clinical role award at the fifth Staff Awards ceremony which was held virtually over Microsoft Teams.
The ceremony, which was broadcast via Microsoft Teams, saw Michelle being honoured for her dedication in supporting and encouraging her hardworking team.
Michelle is responsible for managing information governance for a vast amount of staff and patients throughout Lanarkshire.
Michelle said: “It’s a great honour to be nominated for the staff awards and I am delighted to have won.
“I came into the post prior to General Data Protection Regulations and the new Data Protection Act that came into place in 2018. These new acts have proved to be a challenging time for my department.
“My team has worked incredibly hard to ensure that NHS Lanarkshire is providing staff with the training they need, producing policies and handling data safely.
“These are all behind the scene tasks that keep NHS Lanarkshire running smoothly.”
Michelle is committed to ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered to NHS Lanarkshire and believes that everyone should be given a chance.

“Michelle is respected by her colleagues and always encourages them to aim high and work to their best ability and is always there if they need a chat.
“Michelle is also appreciated by many members of staff across NHS Lanarkshire. She is known to be someone who you can rely on for advice and trustworthy with anything you may need to speak to her about. She has been described as helpful, knowledgeable and dedicated.
“I am extremely proud of her and all that she has achieved.”
