Making a request
All the information that NHS Lanarkshire regularly publishes is included in the publication scheme (link to publication scheme).
Before you make a request, remember that under Freedom of Information not all information will be released. Some information you request may be exempt from release.
These exemptions are listed in the Act and include:-
Health Records
To request your health records, please see our health records information page.
Personal information
Personal information such as –
- Your own information
- Information that identifies a person
Commercial information
- The price negotiated for a particular product
Information that would cost too much to provide
For this reason if you can be specific in what you are looking for you are more likely to receive the information we have.
Not held
We will let you know that and if we can give advice on where you may find the information.
Information already published
If some or all of the information you request is exempt this will be explained when we respond to your request.

If you are not happy with the response you get you are entitled to a review in the first instance. Write to:-
