A positive change is coming to NHS Lanarkshire’s emergency departments, and we want to ensure all staff feel informed and prepared.
In late April, eTriage will be introduced at University Hospital Monklands, followed by a phased rollout at University Hospitals Wishaw and Hairmyres throughout Spring.

What is eTriage?
This digital check-in and triage system is designed to enhance patient flow and improve coordination. It will help ensure patients are seen in the right place, at the right time, supporting safety by augmenting — not replacing — existing ways of working.
What does this mean for you?
We are committed to working collaboratively with you to ensure a smooth transition. Training and information sessions are planned in the coming weeks for relevant staff, and we will continue to provide updates as we approach go-live at each site.
