Described as the “organisational heartbeat” of NHS Lanarkshire physiotherapy, Management Team Secretary Suzanne Bowman has been named a finalist in the 2025 NHS Lanarkshire Staff Awards.
Supporting ten managers, multiple team leads and the busy MSK Booking Hub, Suzanne plays a key role in ensuring services run smoothly behind the scenes — all with professionalism, compassion and an eye for innovation.
A champion for digital transformation, Suzanne has designed systems that save time and improve efficiency — from smart annual leave trackers to live dashboards that inform workforce planning. She delivers personal training across sites and shares her learning widely as part of the health board’s Digital Leadership Programme.
She also advocates for her profession, scripting and starring in a video that celebrated the vital role of AHP admin staff across the service.
