NHS Lanarkshire staff at Lady Home Hospital in Clydesdale have warmly welcomed Paramedic Clinical Team Leader Craig Hill (pictured left) and his colleagues from the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS), who are temporarily using the site as a rest area while vital upgrades take place at Douglas Ambulance Station.
Islay Russell, Head of Services for SAS in Lanarkshire said: “A huge thank you to NHS Lanarkshire for their support during this important upgrade. It’s reassuring to know we can count on our partners when we need them.”
Professor Soumen Sengupta, Chief Officer for Health and Social Care in South Lanarkshire added: “Really pleased that we have been able to welcome Scottish Ambulance Service into our premises here and my thanks to all of the staff involved. It’s another great example of the co-operation on-the-ground that brings partnership working between our organisations to life here in Lanarkshire.”
A great example of joint working in action, ensuring staff have the support they need to continue delivering vital care for local people.
