This year’s NHS Scotland Event will take place on Monday 9 June at the Technology & Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. This will be the first time the Event has taken place at the state-of the-art facility in the centre of Glasgow.
The call for posters is open for 2025.
This year’s poster exhibition will feature around 200 projects that are taking place across NHS Scotland and partner organisations to support our key priorities.
Submissions are welcome from NHS Scotland employees, voluntary and partner organisations and other public or private sector organisations on any aspect of work they are undertaking in, with or on behalf of NHS Scotland.
This year’s event programme will be delivered in a hybrid format, giving delegates the option to attend in-person or remotely via a virtual platform. Live streaming elements of the programme will include the plenary sessions as well as a selection of other sessions throughout the day. Further information will be available when registration goes live at the end of April.
Please note that, along with a new venue for 2025, a new format for the poster exhibition will be introduced:
- the top scoring 100 poster abstracts will be invited to display a poster at the Event as well as in the online poster showcase. The top 30 of these will also be invited to give a short presentation of their work;
- a further 100 poster abstracts will be selected to display their poster in the online poster showcase.
The event will provide the opportunity for colleagues to share their experiences, explore new ways of working, celebrate success and work together to deliver the highest quality person-centred, safe and effective integrated care for every individual in Scotland.
There are seven poster categories for 2025. If your abstract cuts across more than one poster category, please choose the category you think is most relevant and submit only under one poster category.
For details on all of this year’s poster categories and how to submit a poster abstract, visit the NHS Scotland Event website.
Please note that poster submissions will be subject to a local quality check and should be emailed to LQA@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk by Monday 3 March.
The closing date for authors to submit their final, approved abstract via the NHS Scotland Event online platform is 18 March. Abstracts will be shortlisted and successful authors will receive notification on 11 April from the national team.
Successful authors will be invited to design a poster which must be submitted by 23 May. An online poster showcase will open on 26 May.
