Mark your calendars for this year’s Staff Health and Wellbeing Week, taking place from Monday 10th to Sunday 16th March 2025.
This week is dedicated to celebrating and promoting the health and wellbeing of our NHS Lanarkshire staff.
As part of the week, we’re looking for colleagues who are interested in hosting sessions. This could involve leading a workshop, organising a group activity, delivering a presentation on a wellbeing topic, or facilitating a discussion. It’s a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise, inspire your peers, and contribute to a culture of wellbeing within our organisation.
If you’d like to suggest areas to be featured throughout the week, we encourage you to share your ideas. This could be anything from topics you’d like to explore, or activities you think would benefit colleagues. Your input is invaluable in shaping a week that reflects the needs and interests of our staff. Please get in touch to make your suggestions.
Mark Kennedy, General Manager, Salus, said: “Staff Health and Wellbeing Week is a chance to come together, reflect, and prioritise our own health. Supporting our colleagues’ wellbeing is key to delivering the best care for our patients.
“It’s an opportunity to build connections, share experiences, and discover new ways to support our physical and mental health.
“We’re encouraging everyone to take part, whether it’s hosting an activity, attending a session, or simply taking time for yourself during the week. By participating, we strengthen our commitment to both individual and collective wellbeing.”
If you’d like to host a session or suggest an area to be included, please contact Lesley Mackay at lesley.mackay@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk.
