NHS Lanarkshire is pleased to announce the return of its popular Stress Control classes, designed to help individuals develop practical techniques to manage the challenges of modern-day life.
The six-week programme is open to anyone aged 16 and over, offering tools to manage stress, anxiety, and low confidence, all of which can impact overall well-being.
The upcoming sessions will be held in three convenient community locations:
Carluke Lifestyles Centre
Carnwath Road, Carluke, ML8 4DF
Dates: Tuesdays, 29th October – 3rd December 2024
Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Fernhill Community Centre
12 Auchelarie Drive, Fernhill, G73 4EQ
Dates: Thursdays, 31st October – 5th December 2024
Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Coatbridge Community Centre
9 Old Monklands Road, Coatbridge, ML5 5EA
Dates: Wednesdays, 6th November – 11th December 2024
Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
The programme covers a range of essential topics, including understanding stress, controlling thoughts and actions, managing panic and sleep issues, and maintaining future well-being. Each session lasts 90 minutes, and no personal sharing is required, allowing participants to simply listen and learn. Attendees are also welcome to bring a friend or family member for support.
