InPhase will fully replace Datix on the 5 August 2024 as the new integrated incident, risk management and patient safety system in NHS Lanarkshire.
Four apps will launch on InPhase on this date; incidents, risk, claims and safety action notices.
The Patient Affairs and Complaints team went live with the feedback app on InPhase for cases received since Monday (1 July).
Kevin Rooney, Patient Affairs and Complaints Lead, said “The transition has been smooth. The system is highly intuitive and logical for users. The platform will enhance many of our processes.
“It is highly customisable and we look forward to further development over the coming months, including enhanced reporting of feedback themes and learning.”
Benefits of InPhase include:
- Modern feel and easier to use when raising incidents, risks or complaints
- Quicker real-time reporting
- A cloud-based platform which can be accessed on mobile devices and iPads
- Features a lessons-learned functionality
- Sends alerts out to users
- Customisable, allowing us to develop it following feedback
Karon Cormack, Director of Quality, said: “I am delighted with the progress made to implement InPhase as our Integrated Patient Safety System. The added functionality will improve the user experience and ease the process of reporting and monitoring.
“We really appreciate staff support with the changes by engaging with the information and training that will be provided. I look forward to see what can be achieved with this system to improve the information we use to impact the quality of care we provide.”
