Professor Jann Gardner, Chief Executive of NHS Lanarkshire, is delighted to announce that three of our existing executive directors will take on additional responsibilities with new Deputy Chief Executive portfolios.
Following a competitive appointment process, Finance Director Michael Breen, Human Resources Director Jacqui Jones and Colin Lauder, Director of Planning, Property and Performance, will take on extended portfolios (listed below) as Deputy Chief Executives (DCEs), in addition to their current roles. They will also deputise for Jann as required when they start in their DCE roles on 1 June.

Through their wealth of skills and expertise, they will support Jann and the wider organisation to drive forward at pace NHS Lanarkshire’s strategic reform, performance management and culture improvements.
