Last chance to knit, crochet or sew a twiddlemuff and be entered into a prize draw to win a luxury wellbeing hamper, including a voucher for a massage worth £50!
A twiddlemuff is a fabric or yarn tube adorned with buttons, zips, or ribbons, designed to keep dementia patients’ hands active and engaged. The muff keeps hands warm, while ‘twiddling’ the accessories provides sensory stimulation and soothing movement.
The Health Promoting Health Service team are running a prize draw for staff who can craft a twiddlemuff. The winner will receive a luxury wellbeing hamper, kindly donated by Unite the Union, which includes bath goodies, wax melts, and a massage voucher. The entered twiddlemuffs will be donated to support people in Care of the Elderly Wards across Lanarkshire.
