In this week’s video, Heather speaks about the latest number of Covid-19 cases in hospital and in the community. While the numbers are decreasing, which is good news, our hospitals are still experiencing issues with flow of patients and continued pressure. To help identify solutions that can be put in place, particularly before winter, joint workforce summits will take place with partnership colleagues.
Heather also speaks about her support for the recent changes to maternity visiting as a result of staff being subject to verbal abuse.
Heather ends by speaking about international recruitment and welcomes our recent recruits who have arrived from Kerala.
