Gonorrhoea

Gonorrhoea is a sexually transmitted infection (STI).
It can be easily treated.

If you have unprotected sex (have sex and do not use a condom) you may get Gonorrhea.

Men and women can get Gonorrhoea.

Most women and some men do not show any symptoms of Gonorrhoea.
Symptoms

If you have any of the following symptoms speak to your doctor or nurse.

Women may have
Discharge from the vagina.
Pain when peeing.

Bleed after sex.

Bleeding may be heavier during periods
or
You may bleed in between periods.

Men may have
Pain when peeing.

Discharge from your penis (yellow or green in colour).

Pain or swelling in your balls (testes).

When having sex always use a condom, especially if you have a new partner.
