SPOTLIGHT

Staff Flu Vaccination – Protect Yourself, Protect Patients, Protect Loved Ones

Oct 29, 2026

The 2026/27 staff flu campaign is ongoing and the NHS Lanarkshire occupational health team (Salus) will continue to support the vaccination of staff within the acute sites.

Staff who did not attended one of our planned clinics will need to contact their local occupational health team to arrange their vaccine.

If any managers have a group of staff wishing the vaccine arrangements can be made for one of our team to attend at a mutually agreeable time by contacting their local OH department

Please remember to bring your NHSL ID/proof of employment. We may not be able to vaccinate you if you cannot provide this

Why Get Vaccinated?

The flu virus changes each year, making annual vaccination the most effective way to protect yourself, your colleagues, your friends and family as well as the vulnerable patients in our care.

Vaccination helps reduce transmission to vulnerable clients, minimise sickness absence, and supports service resilience during the winter period.

Thank you for supporting the NHS Lanarkshire staff vaccination programme.
