Our addictions staff joined third sector colleagues to mark International Overdose Awareness Day.
The Community Addiction Recovery Service (CAReS) had stalls in Hunter Health Centre, Douglas Street Health Centre, Carluke Health Centre and in Camglen.
Victoria McInulty, CAReS Service Manager, said: “The awareness day has been running for 25 years and the theme this year was ‘25 years later: still needed’.
“Staff chatted with the general public, gave information and advice, and also signposted to where to get support for those affected by drugs and alcohol – individuals, families and carers.
“A massive thank you to everyone who helped with the stalls.”
