Staff Awards nominations do more than recognise individuals, they bring teams together, shine a light on great practice, and celebrate the very best of NHS Lanarkshire.
Taking a few minutes to nominate someone might feel like a small gesture, but it can have a lasting impact.
A nomination can:
- Boost morale and show people their efforts are genuinely appreciated
- Highlight excellent practice others can learn from
- Celebrate teamwork across roles, departments and sites
- Strengthen our culture of kindness, respect and continuous improvement
If you’ve seen someone go the extra mile, whether that’s delivering compassionate care, finding a creative solution, supporting colleagues, or leading meaningful improvement. Please take a moment to recognise them.
NHS Lanarkshire’s, Director of Communications, Calvin Brown added: “Recognition is powerful. When we share the stories behind great care and great teamwork, we remind each other what’s possible and inspire others. There are so many examples every day of the amazing work our staff do. Let them know they are making a difference by nominating them.”
Not sure where to start?
Try thinking about:
- What did they do?
- Who did it help?
- What difference did it make?
- Why does it stand out?
