NHS Lanarkshire has launched a new on-demand learning and development toolkit, providing staff with a flexible, accessible resource that can be used anytime, anywhere.
The toolkit has been developed to support staff learning by bringing together practical guidance, tools and information in one easy-to-access online space. Designed as an on-demand resource, it allows individuals and teams to engage with the content at a time and pace that suits their working patterns, making learning easier to fit around busy roles and responsibilities.
Accessible to anyone, the toolkit can be used to support personal development, reflection, and continuous learning. Staff can dip in and out as needed, whether they are looking to refresh existing knowledge, build confidence in specific areas, or explore learning and development opportunities available across the organisation.
Siobhan McRorie, Learning and Organisational Development Manager, said: “This toolkit has been developed to make learning more accessible, practical and flexible for everyone.
“By offering an on-demand resource, staff can engage with learning at a time and pace that works for them, whether that’s during a quiet moment at work or in their own time. It supports individuals to take ownership of their development while also providing teams with a useful resource to support shared learning and discussion.”
The toolkit can be used in a variety of ways, including:
– supporting individual learning and development planning
– encouraging reflection and skill development
– facilitating team learning sessions or discussions
– signposting staff to further learning opportunities and support
By making learning resources easier to access and navigate, the toolkit supports NHS Lanarkshire’s commitment to continuous improvement and staff development, helping colleagues to feel confident, supported and empowered in their roles.
Staff are encouraged to explore the toolkit and make use of the resources available, either independently or as part of team-based learning and development activity.
