United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)
About Children’s Rights
NHS Lanarkshire is committed to respecting children’s rights.
These rights are set out in a new Scottish law called the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024.
All children and young people under 18 years old have these rights.
The law comes into effect in July 2024.Â
