The Physiotherapy Respiratory Outpatient service is for anyone who requires specialist assessment and treatment for a range of respiratory conditions, most commonly bronchiectasis, dysfunctional breathing pattern disorder and chronic cough.
Initial appointments are via telephone, with further follow-up via Near-Me or Face-to-Face as required.
How to refer
Access to the service is through clinical referral; either from a consultant, GP and/or Health Professional.
Face-to-face clinic appointments take place at University Hospital Hairmyres, University Hospital Monklands and University Hospital Wishaw.
Referral letters should be sent to ‘Respiratory Physiotherapy, Physiotherapy Department’ at the relevant acute site.
