Blood Borne Viruses (BBVs)
Aim:
BBV Awareness: Introductory awareness-raising session for non-clinical staff, focusing on transmission, prevention and treatment of blood borne viruses
Learning Objectives:
Participants will:
- Identify the most common BBVs
- Learn about methods of prevention and common routes of transmission
- Understand what BBVs can’t do
- Consider the impact of stigma, particularly in relation to HIV
- Know where to access up-to-date information on sexual health
Target Audience:
Anyone who wants to learn about BBVs/working with those at risk of BBVs.

LGBT+ Identities
Aim:
To support LGBT+ inclusive practice.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will:
- Have increased knowledge of relevant terminology
- Understand the importance of inclusive language
- Increase knowledge and understanding of issues experienced by LGBT+ people in Scotland
- Have an opportunity to reflect on current practice
- Consider Scottish policy and legislation
- Understand better what is meant by inclusive practice
Target Audience:
Anyone who wants to learn about LGBT+ people in Scotland or works with anyone who is LGBT+. All courses are non clinical and introductory in nature, are aimed at sparking conversation and reflection and aimed at professionals who can support important conversations about sexual health and relationships. Courses may be most suitable for professionals who work with, or around, children and young people, however this is not a requirement.

- Learn about the evidence base
- Understand the context of RSHP in Scottish Education
- Learn about the national resource.
Target Audience:
Anyone using the RSHP in their current role. All courses are non clinical and introductory in nature, are aimed at sparking conversation and reflection and aimed at professionals who can support important conversations about sexual health and relationships. Courses may be most suitable for professionals who work with, or around, children and young people, however this is not a requirement.

Hepatitis C and New Treatments
Aim:
This course is packed full of information about what Hep C is, the importance of testing, risk factors, different methods of testing, the importance of treatment and the benefits of new treatments.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Define hep C
- Identify risk factors for hep C
- Understand the implications of not being diagnosed
- Distinguish methods of testing for hep C
- Recall previous treatments
- Describe the benefits of new treatments
Target Audience:
Various audiences will benefit from the e-learning, including; people who come into contact with people who use drugs, GPs, nurses, teachers, police, housing workers, social workers and mental health workers and the general public.

HIV: Preventable and Treatable
Aim:
This e-learning course will increase your knowledge of HIV prevention and treatment. You will also learn about the current HIV outbreak in Scotland among people who inject drugs.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Define HIV as a virus, including how it is transmitted from one person to another
- Recall key facts around HIV testing, prevention, and treatment
- Understand the Glasgow HIV outbreak and lessons learnt
