U-Turn

Glasgow Council on Alcohol – Young Person Peer Education Harm Reduction Service

Category:

Mental Health Support:

  • Early intervention and prevention for young people looking to address stigma and reduce harm caused by alcohol and drugs within their local communities. Peer Educators receive 1:1 support from workers and attend weekly group sessions to build on their confidence, leadership skills and work towards qualifications in a safe and nurturing environment

Eligibility: 

  • Would you like to talk to someone about your alcohol intake? Our Free and Confidential Helpline number is available for people who are experiencing difficulties due to their alcohol use. This number is free for all landlines and mobile numbers. You can also reach us on Facebook messenger, or fill in a referral form for someone to get back to you with your choice of communication.
