About us 

We are a team of Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs), Assistant Practitioners (APs), Senior Health Care Support Workers (SHCSW) and Administration Staff. We work with families and other professionals to support children and young people across Lanarkshire. We work in various different places:

• Clinics
• Homes
• Nurseries
• Early Learning and Childcare (ELC)
• Family Learning Centres and Schools
• University Hospital Wishaw

How we support children and young people 

We support children and young people, from the ages of 0-18 years who have a range of difficulties with their communication and/or eating and drinking. This is extended to care experience young people up to age 26. We are committed to giving the highest quality of care for the children and young people living in Lanarkshire. We will do this as part of a society that includes everyone with any communication and swallowing difficulties.

Parents and carers of children and young people living in Lanarkshire can use our enquiry service for advice and assistance. Professionals working in Lanarkshire can also use this service to access support for Lanarkshire families. We have an open referral system which means anyone, including parents, can ask for assistance from our service.
