Residents of Lanarkshire who have yet to receive their flu vaccine or COVID-19 booster can now access one of the ‘drop-in’ clinics at any of our vaccination centres without a prior appointment.
For details on the clinic locations and operational times, please visit our website at https://www.nhslanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk/covid-19-vaccine-centres/
In anticipation of the festive period, we are facilitating drop-in clinics at all our centres for anyone 12 years of age or older who meets the eligibility criteria, including front-line health and social care workers.
The Vaccination Service Manager Susan Frew has said: “We are delighted to provide drop-in clinics for the Winter flu vaccine and the Autumn COVID-19 booster. We acknowledge that some people may not have been able to attend their appointment, and drop-in options may be preferable for some due to their ease, hence our decision to offer them across all our vaccination centres.
To safeguard yourself and your loved ones this festive season, we urge all eligible individuals who have not yet received their vaccination to visit our drop-in clinics. By getting vaccinated now, you can ensure you and your family are protected in time for Christmas festivities.
“I would also like to pass my sincere thanks to the members of NHS staff who have been involved in the rollout of the vaccination programme for their hard work and commitment throughout the year.”
We also encourage you to monitor our social media for the latest information regarding our vaccination services and other pertinent topics.
