NHS Lanarkshire logo and 75 years of the NHS

A new online Spring Health Hub has been launched, designed to help Lanarkshire residents to navigate the wealth of healthcare options available and empower them in seeking the right care at the right place.

Whether you’re grappling with seasonal allergies, in need of mental health support, or seeking guidance on maintaining your wellbeing, this hub serves as your go-to destination for essential healthcare information.

As residents prepare for the Easter holidays, this centralised web resource serves as an indispensable guide, offering a wealth of information on all available healthcare services, tailored specifically to the spring season.

Dr John Keaney, acute medical director for NHS Lanarkshire, said: “As we transition into spring, it’s still important for everyone to be aware of the wide range of NHS services that are available to them.

“Whether you’re seeking advice on managing seasonal ailments, exploring mental health support, or requiring help for dental pain, the Spring Health Hub serves as your compass, directing you towards the most suitable care options.”

The Spring Health Hub provides invaluable guidance on accessing healthcare services tailored to common spring ailments.

Lauren Gibson, Lead Pharmacist for Community Pharmacy Services, said: “Spring can bring some seasonal challenges. From managing allergies to addressing minor infections, your local pharmacy offers a range of services to help.

“Your local pharmacy can treat a variety of minor common conditions without a prescription through its Pharmacy First Service, and its Pharmacy First Plus Service.

“Your pharmacist is your springtime ally, offering expert guidance and solutions to help you spring back into health.”

GP practices in Lanarkshire continue to offer phone, video and in-person consultations, so anyone with health concerns they believe requires the input of a GP should contact their GP practice.
