A new online wellbeing resource has been launched to provide quick, accessible skills and strategies for people looking to boost their wellbeing as part of everyday life.
Hosted on the Lanarkshire Mind Matters website, A Moment for Your Mind is a new suite of ultra-brief videos created to help people pause, reflect and focus on their mental wellbeing in just a short space of time.
It has been developed by NHS Lanarkshire Psychological Services as part of ongoing work to make evidence-based wellbeing resources easier to access.
The new resource brings together a series short videos focused on simple techniques and everyday habits that can support wellbeing. The videos explore themes including positive daily routines, sleep and physical wellbeing, emotional grounding, and practical strategies to manage stress and build resilience in everyday life.
Dr Simon Stuart, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Digital Lead for Psychological Services at NHS Lanarkshire, said: “A Moment for Your Mind has been a project we have been planning for some time.
“The idea is very simple – to offer people short, accessible wellbeing videos that can slot easily into everyday life, even when time feels limited. The focus is on gentle skills and strategies – the little things we can all do to help ourselves.
“We know that small moments can make a real difference, and we hope this new resource gives people a practical and supportive way to pause and look after their wellbeing.”
Lanarkshire Mind Matters is NHS Lanarkshire Adult Psychological Services’ online mental health and wellbeing resource.
