Essential maintenance works will be undertaken at the Hunter Community Health Centre multi-storey car park, East Kilbride from Friday 3 November.

Some of this work requires areas of the car park to be closed at times. The car park will be closed on Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November.

On Friday 3 November, alternative arrangements will be in place for patients only to park in the South Lanarkshire Council car park at the side of Hunter health centre. This area will be coned off, with signs advising of patient parking only.

Lynn Yule, operational service manager at Hunter community health centre, said: “These essential works will take place from Friday 3 November and will last for approximately six weeks. This is depending on the weather conditions.

“We are currently in discussions with South Lanarkshire Council and East Kilbride Shopping Centre to provide adequate parking for our staff and patients to ensure there will be minimal disruption during the period of the planned works.

“The works will include repairs to the existing road covering and to increase drainage. The works will be carried out on behalf of Sub Hub Co.”
