Alcohol and the workplace is an important topic because it sits right at the intersection of safety, wellbeing, productivity, and organisational culture. When alcohol shows up in a work context—whether through drinking at events, coming in hungover, or dealing with alcohol related struggles—it can have real consequences for both people and the organisation. (Note: this event is also promoted to local businesses)

The NHS Lanarkshire Equality and Diversity team, together with colleagues from Learning and Organisational Development, and our Trade Unions, will be shining a spotlight on staff voice and lived experience. We’ll be showcasing the wide range of workplace supports available through our employee networks — Ethnic Minority, Disability and Wellbeing, and LGBT+ — and championing positive, inclusive workplace cultures. This includes raising awareness of the Reporting A Discriminatory Incident (RADI) system, NHS Lanarkshire values and culture, and highlighting the many ways our Trade Unions provide guidance and support to staff.
