The Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019 provides a statutory basis for the provision of appropriate staffing in health and care services, enabling safe and high-quality care and improved outcomes for service users. This report focusses on NHS Lanarkshire's compliance with duties of the Act, what has gone well and what we are working towards and is published as per Scottish Government request. The report is to allow the general public to view and monitor progress of the Act's implementation and progress.
