NHS Lanarkshire is recruiting a new non-executive board member who wants to play a key role in making an impact on the health and well-being of the communities of Lanarkshire and who shares our values and passion for driving forward our vision.
This is an exciting time to join the Board of NHS Lanarkshire as we strive to deliver a healthier future for our communities through our bold and ambitious vision of service redesign and transformation ‘Achieving Excellence’.
Neena Mahal, chair of NHS Lanarkshire, said: “We are encouraging applications from a truly diverse range of people. We want to find a new non-executive board member who can bring their own unique skills, backgrounds and knowledge to the Board in order to support us to deliver our strategic priorities through purposeful scrutiny and good governance.
“You don’t need to be a health expert, but you will have an enquiring mind, a commitment to helping us improve the health and well-being of the people of Lanarkshire and acting as an ambassador in promoting a positive organisational culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference to your local NHS.”
The appointment will be for up to four years and will require a commitment of eight hours over the course of a week.
